Bigfoot Endorses Population Reduction

Bigfoot (Sasquatch) is not a myth. His name is Norman and he lives in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest of the United States. In an exclusive interview with TANA, The Alien News Agency, Norm revealed his personal and inner most thoughts about humans and human population.

TANA: How old are you, Mr. Bigfoot?

Norm: Call me Norm. In human terms, I am forty years old.

TANA: Married? Any children?

Norm: Yes. I married when I was fifteen years old. I have two children, Sam and Ursula.

TANA: What is your opinion of humans?

Norm: Personally, I have nothing against the human race. They are like any species I encounter in the forest.

TANA: Do they humans bother you?

Norm: All the time. Now days, I can’t go out for a walk without seeing humans. The forest is swarming with them.

TANA: Is that a bad thing?

Norm: Yes. Absolutely. They go stomping all over everything, they trample the plants and the flowers, and they scare the animals away.

TANA: Do you eat meat?

Norm: Rarely. We mostly eat plants and fruits. I am not a hunter.

TANA: Your people have lived here a very long time. What do you see in the future?

Norm: We’ll live our usual forest life-style. We have lived a quiet peaceful life for many thousands of years. Our main concern is the humans. We hear rumors of the human population growing to gigantic proportions. The population growth can’t be sustained by the Earth’s resources. Every day we see encroachment by humans building roads and housing developments on our ancestral home. We look in the sky and see terrible haze and pollution.

TANA: What would you tell the human race?

Norm: If anyone is listening, they should stop the indiscriminate breeding. Humans need to reduce their population to a size that can sustain the planet.

TANA: Those are strong words, Norm.

Norm: Listen. My ancestors decided long ago to limit our species. They felt the action was responsible and the hallmark of thinking, rational beings.

TANA: What are your future plans?

Norm: The family has decided to move further north, away from human society.

TANA: Any words of advice to humans?

Norm: Yes. Please realize what your overpopulation is doing to yourselves and your home, the planet Earth.

TANA: Thanks, Norm

Norm: You’re welcome. If you want to talk again, you have my agent’s name and number.

TANA: Yes. Thank you.
